The Edmonton Oilers have advanced to the Stanley Cup Final after defeating the Dallas Stars 4-2 in Game 7 on Saturday night. Leon Draisaitl scored the game-winning goal in the third period, and Connor McDavid added an empty-net goal to seal the victory. This is the Oilers' first trip to the Stanley Cup Final since 2006.
Oilers Dominate Third Period
The Oilers came out strong in the third period, scoring two goals to take a 3-2 lead. The Oilers will now face the Colorado Avalanche in the Stanley Cup Final. The series is scheduled to begin on Monday night in Denver.
