Public Betas of Upcoming Apple Operating Systems Now Available

Users Can Now Test New Features and Provide Feedback

Cupertino, California - June 10, 2024 - Apple today released the first public betas of its upcoming operating systems, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Ventura, tvOS 16, and watchOS 9. These public betas provide users with an early opportunity to experience new features and provide feedback to Apple before the official release of the software.

iOS 18, the latest update to the iPhone's operating system, brings a range of new features, including a redesigned Lock Screen with customizable widgets, Focus Mode enhancements, and more.

iPadOS 18, specifically designed for the iPad, introduces Stage Manager, a new multitasking tool that allows users to easily manage multiple apps and windows.

macOS Ventura, the next iteration of the Mac operating system, features Stage Manager, as well as improvements to Mail, Messages, and Safari.

tvOS 16, the software that powers Apple TV, brings new features such as support for HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos, as well as improvements to the Apple TV app.

watchOS 9, the latest update to the Apple Watch's operating system, includes new watch faces, health tracking features, and improvements to the Workout app.

Public beta testers can provide feedback to Apple through the Feedback Assistant app on their devices. The public betas will be updated regularly as Apple continues to develop the software.
