Mufasa: The Lion King — Disney Unveils First Look at the Prequel
Disney has unveiled the first look at Mufasa: The Lion King, the upcoming prequel to the beloved 1994 animated classic. The film, which is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2024, will explore the early life of Mufasa, the father of Simba.
Directed by Barry Jenkins (Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk), Mufasa: The Lion King features an all-star voice cast that includes Aaron Pierre as Mufasa, Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Scar, and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa.
